Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Selections From Early German Literature
When this work had already made much progress, there appeared, in 1907, a similar collection, intended like the present one for Amer ican and English students. It did not seem necessary, however, ou this account to disoontinue the present work. There is no reason why there should not exist several readers in German literature, as little as there is any objection to the existence of more than one German grammar.
