In an ancient land where mountains kiss the sky and rivers sing ancient songs, a child of extraordinary fate is born under the full moon. Guided by the immortal Li Er, Laozi embarks on a journey to understand the Dao and confront the challenges of the world.
During their travels, they encounter the evil demons and other monstrous beings who seek to disrupt their quest. Alongside a mysterious immortal named Chen Hang, they battle these formidable foes using their divine powers and magical weapons. Despite initial defeats and cunning traps set by the demons, the trio's unwavering determination and the help of the Jade Emperor's chosen warriors eventually lead them to victory. Their journey is marked by moments of profound teaching, fierce battles, and deep camaraderie. As they cleanse the land of evil, they also face the treachery of humans and their desires. Through it all, the wisdom and power of the Dao guide them.
