About 75 percent of the watershed draining directly into the reservoir is in cultivation. Crops are limited to wheat in a crop-fallow rotation. Some erosion occurs on all cultivated land, the amount depending on the slope and rainfall. Land use adjustments in accordance with land capabilities and appli cation of soil Conservation practices according to the needs are recommended.
