Nothing ever happens in small town Waitsburg, Washington, population 2700 people. So when new girl, Alaska moves into town with her mom right next door to Lash, he sits up and pays attention. It doesn't hurt that she's got legs for miles, and green eyes a guy could get lost in forever.
But when Lash notices a man lurking around Alaska's house in the middle of the night, and one of his friends ends up dead the next day after confronting the same man, red flags are everywhere and it's up to Lash and his friends to figure out who Alaska is running from, and prove to the police that their friend's death was not a suicide before Alaska and her mom disappear again. Or worse: End up dead.
