Publisher's Synopsis
This book reviews relevant literature and theories aiming at increasing our in-depth understanding of Iraqi EFL university instructors' pedagogies by exploring the challenges they face in their EFL teaching profession and the kinds of experiences that have influenced their pedagogical approaches. This book consists of four parts. First, SLA theories were briefly discussed to explain the position of Krashen's Theory of Second Language Acquisition, which is the main theoretical framework for this book since it is less likely used in Iraqi EFL situations, and Identity Theory on the developmental line of SLA theories.
