Rafi lives with his father in a mobile home park near the ocean called Paradise Cove. During the last week of summer vacation Scratch, the lucky six-toed cat, makes a new friend, a girl named Luz. As Rafi, Matt, and Luz become friends weird stuff begins in the Cove---cats disappear and Rafi's mobile home is swarmed by small, brightly-colored frogs.Somebody must investigate! What Rafi and Scratch find leads them on a wild adventure, in a spaceship, to Mayan ruins in Mexico. Will they come back home? How will they save the Cove from the Space Invaders? Is Luz a friend?
