This volume contains critical reviews covering various areas of organic chemistry. It includes selected experimental procedures. Topics covered include the use of chiral scandium complexes in asymmetric synthesis, synthesis and applications of silylated germanes and silylated stannanes, synthesis of pyranones and pyranthiones, synthesis of cyclic phosphines, and recent advances in the synthesis of phosphates and thiophosphates, covering both simple organic phosphates as well as nucleosides.
