Science and Technology Matters is a resource in which learners experience the world in stimulating ways. A blend of creative, practical and skills-based activities has been used as learners embark on a journey of discovery in science and technology. Features of the Learner's Book  The Learner's Book comprises four integrated modules: 'Our living world'; 'Nothing stays the same'; 'Are all things connected?' and 'Caring for the Earth'.  Learners are encouraged to use their own skills in solving problems.  Concepts are reinforced at the ends of modules.  'Let's Check' features help to reinforce success. Features of the Teacher's Guide  An introduction to Curriculum 2005 is given at the beginning of the book.  A list of Programme Organisers, Phase Organisers, Specific Outcomes and Assessment Criteria is provided.  Suggestions for the activities are included.  Extension activities and lists of resources needed are provided where appropriate.
