Designed to complement PHYSICAL EXAMINATION AND HEALTH ASSESSMENT, by Carolyn Jarvis, RN, C, MSN, FNP, these videotapes demonstrate assessments specific to each body system, and detail full head-to-toe examinations across the lifespan. Transcultural and developmental considerations are highlighted when appropriate. All videos are enhanced by introductory remarks, computer animation, and a focus on clear, sequential assessment techniques. Each body system is covered in a separate 15 to 25 minute video. Five 30 to 35 minute videos present full individual client head-to-toe examinations of a healthy adult, an older adult, a pregnant woman, a neonate, and a child. An instructor's manual, included with every videotape, provides suggestions for class discussions and ways to encourage critical thinking. Tapes are available individually or as packaged sets.
