His search for these elusive discs leads him across the United States to places where he meets total strangers who own these records but have never unsealed and played them for various reasons that are eventually disclosed. In the end, Charles' snapshots of his journey reveal not only more about the lives of the record sellers than about the records that they are selling but also how an intensely personal experience has transformed his own life.
