New York State will establish at Cornell University what is believed to be the first publicly supported institution of its kind a school of industrial and labor relations which will be opened to labor and manage ment representatives or to any one else seek ing enrollment. Under the plan now being provided in a bill, assured of approval by the 1944 Legislature and Governor Dewey, all diverse groups attending the institution as students will attend the same classes under the same instructors in a system de signed to promote industrial problems and mutual increased knowledge of labor and understanding and respect.
