Publisher's Synopsis
Opening five episodes of the animated sci-fi series inspired by Robert Heinlein's 'Starship Troopers' novel. Rico, Carmen and Carl are a group of youngsters who feel inspired to join the military, safe in the knowledge that the warrior insects which plagued the Earth were defeated two years earlier. However, the trio have no sooner signed up as starship troopers than the alien bugs make a comeback, and their 'mopping up' operation on Pluto becomes a central event in an interstellar war.
