Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Rod and Gun in Canada, Vol. 22: March, 1921
Gruntings and rumblings came from the interior of the big beaver house and we lay on the side of the house listening to the family gossip going on inside. Whether the inmates were discussing the probable price of beaver skins this fall or swear ing about the intruders we could not understand, but true it was they were doing a lot of talking in the beaver language.
