Publisher's Synopsis
Look.
When I was a kid, I was clumsy. Not careless or absent-minded, just clumsy, clumsy... really clumsy. Now I know it wasn't a big deal, but back then it felt like the end of the world. Every time I was at home or at school, I'd think... please, don't ask me to do anything... My parents never made a big deal out of it. Maybe my grandmother did, she'd insist that I pay more attention to what I was doing, but she never made me feel pressured. But not being pressured still feels like pressure. It feels like pressure because you start to see yourself as inferior to others and stop believing in yourself. That kid is now Timothy Toot, the main character of this story. He goes through a bit of what I went through. Every time he touches something, he messes it up, and that makes him think his whole life is a disaster. But you know what? That every single one of us has amazing talents, and little Timmy discovers this when the circus comes to his town. In this story, your kids will find really funny situations with rhyming dialogues that will make them laugh out loud. But what it really teaches is the same thing I learned when I was little... that you have to believe in yourself above all else. Because, even when there are moments when you think you're nobody, that little spark that can light up the whole universe will always be with you.And what about you? Would you like to light that little flame in your kids?
