Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Results of Meteorological Observations in the Five Years 1916-1920, Made at the Radcliffe Observatory, Oxford, Vol. 52
In consequence of the largely increased volume of astronomical work carried on at this Observatory in recent years, especially in connexion with the investigation of stellar parallax and proper motion now in hand, it was found impossible with the limited staff to continue systematically the measurement of the photographic records of barometric pressure and air temperature, as was done for the six years, 1900 - 1905, the results of which appeared in Volume XLIX. The photographic results, therefore, do not appear in this volume, but the records continue for the present to be taken as hitherto and are available for reference at any time.
