Where money is lent, to be paid at or on a certain day specified, with interest, to be paid, in the mean time, at stated periods, the her rower cannot, by tendering the debt or principal, before the day stipulated for its payment, stop the interest; for the time of pay ment, in such case, is part of the contract, and for the mutual bene fit and convenience of both parties.
