After being altered by Messrs. Warner Swasey, as explained in my last annual report, the chronograph constructed by Messrs. Alvan Clark Sons in 1875, and employed with the 26-inch telescope in the old Naval Observatory, was remounted here and made ready for use in October, 1897.
