Rev. William Hughes, of San Jacinto, California, has been appointed lecturer for the Bureau in the hope that by his efforts the Preserva tion Society may be promulgated more rapidly and the financial returns of the Bureau materially increased. At present, with Chicago for his headquarters, Father Hughes is doing work in the Middle West similar to that which is being done in the East by Rev. Charles Warren Currier.
Rev. John Kaster, of New London, Wisconsin, has been appointed diocesan representative of the Preservation Society for the Diocese of Green Bay.
