Excerpt from Report of the Committee on Terminals and Transportation of the New York State Food Investigating Commission: April 18, 1913
That part of the report which deals with remedies contains an outline of various plans that have come to the Committee's atten tion, which, it is believed, would result in very substantial economies in the handling of food stuffs. These suggestions do not purport to be exhaustive, since no attempt has been made to secure the opinions of all of the experts who are familiar with the situation, but it is believed that they 'will be found significant and helpful.
