The Contracts Division assists the Attorney General in carrying out his statutory and traditional duties in the broad area of the Commonwealth's contractual relationships of all descriptions. In that role, the Contracts Division has primary responsibility in three areas: litigation in which the Commonwealth is a party involving contract issues; advice and counsel to state agencies concerning contract matters; and review of certain other con tracts for approval as to form.
