Sir - I have the honor to submit herewith the report of the Adjutant General's Department for the years 1893 - 1894, together with the reports of the heads of Departments of the General Staff, and of Colonel. H. C. Kessler, commanding the First Regiment Infantry, National Guard of Montana, and such recommendations as my experience suggests would be for the good of the service. The Militia of the State, on the 2d day of January, 1893, was distributed through the State and composed of the organizations and strength shown in the following table.
