Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Register and Manual, 1933: Prepared Pursuant to Sections 121 and 122 of the General Statutes as Amended by Chapter 6, P. A. 1933
In 1786 was first published a Register for the State of Connect icut. Our statutes have long since provided that the Secretary of the State shall annually prepare and publish a register and manual to contain certain prescribed information, and in addition, such other facts in relation to state departments and such other matters of public concern as may seem desirable. The present edition has been delayed as long as has seemed ex pedient in an endeavor to include information from all pertinent sources as well as to list those newly appointed officials of our courts to which the public will have most frequent reference. Necessarily items of interest to many have been ommitted in furtherance of our desire to effect all reasonable economies in its compilation and production. Inquiries having to do with any phase of state business not in cluded, or not treated in the desired detail, will be welcomed, and it will be our aim to respond promptly and. Authoritatively.
