"At this time, the last third of my life, there are things in my environment I notice, that others don't. Occasionally, when I point something out to a fellow passenger on this life journey, the receiver is appreciative, seeing it in a new way, sometimes not. C'est la vie, as they say. It's interesting for me to observe how attitude can change over the years of maturing, or maybe just living longer and getting older. The pieces in this collection don't follow any particular formal deliberate form as in essay or poem.They are in different moods and on a variety of subjects. I wrote these to share my observations and reflections with others, in the hope that they might notice something new in the context of their own life experience. A big thank you goes to Ryan Dipiero for helping me when I stumbled over the technology.
