In this study, we look at the Seventy Week prophecy given in Daniel 9. I believe that this is one of the clearest and most important prophecies for identifying Jesus as the Messiah. In this book, we will look at the time markers given in the text and see how they line up with the historical sources. However, this book does challenge the traditional interpretations of the prophecy. For instance, I believe the week mentioned in verse 27 takes places at the time period in which it is found in the prophecy, namely the Romano-Jewish war. I don't believe the prophecy indicates that it takes place during the lifetime of Jesus or at the end of the world. I hope this little study is a benefit to all.
