Leonov -who many years later became head of the department of analysis of state security in the USSR- was sent to study at the Faculty of Philology and Philosophy of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. During the trip to that country, he met the young student RaÚl Castro Ruz. Common dreams and purposes then cemented a friendship that continues to this day, as well as the author's admiration for the Cuban Revolution. This book talks about the latter and the role played in it by RaÚl Castro.
