Rehabilitating addicted physicians busted by The Medical Board of California is difficult enough but when eighty MDs are micromanaged by brilliant, street-wise bully-probation officer Simon Bovie, who is supervised by inept and distracted bureaucrats, it results in acrimony, suffering, the violent deaths of two physician clients and even murder. Internist turned addiction specialist, Rich Drinkwater deals with these events in his practice which includes a weekly support group for addicted docs.
