Book 4 introduces grammar rules for contractions, quotation marks, homophones, change y to i and add es, add es to words ending in x, ch, sh, s, appositives, capitalization rules by using spelling words, dictation sentences and paragraphs. Creative writing stories are written using a new picture writing method called Writing Made Easy.
