Publisher's Synopsis
Quality Systems (specifically British Standard 5750 and ISO 9001) are now an integral part of design and development of information systems within organizations. Recognizing this, the PRINCE methodology incorporates a range of quality controls by which quality is planned and then assured throughout a project.;This work considers the specific quality procedures within PRINCE and the way in which they reflect the requirements specified. The author emphasizes that quality cannot be added as an afterthought but must be built into a project from the outset. In order to reinfore this, he describes the planning, review and testing procedures which should operate during the life of a project. A series of checklists is included to assist in the quality review process.
