This is the second in a series of books that follow mankind as they expand their reach out to the stars. The first book in the series established our three heroes as humanity sat on the brink of stellar exploration. Set 10 years after the first book, we continue the saga of our species' exploration and settlement of our galaxy and the perils we find along the way. In this book, Jack, Max and Sandy team up again to save mankind. We have spread out to six planets and find that some things are not quite as we thought.
