Publisher's Synopsis
Isaiah 43:19: "For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland."
I would encourage you to read my memoir if you experienced any type of trauma as a child or as an adult. It can be sexual trauma, it can be physical abuse, or psychological abuse. When you go through that, you can feel shame. You can feel guilt, you can feel like you're alone, and that nobody hears you. Often people take that into their adult years and they get stuck there. If you have experienced that, I would encourage you to read this book, because I'm going to show you how to overcome all of that and how to get out of that mindset.
I also want you to read this book if you haven't experienced any of that, and you just want to learn about the red flags for situations that are going on behind closed doors. For children who are abused, or red flags for human trafficking. Learning about these red flags is so important to protect those that are being victimized, and this book highlights so many of them.
My story is also for you if you're just somebody that wants to find your passion and give back to the community. I'm going to tell you how I was able to develop my passion and how I became an advocate in the community. There are so many things you can learn from this book.
I would encourage you to read this if you're struggling to believe in God or struggling with faith. Because I'm going to talk about how I struggled with faith for so many years, and now I'm learning to totally surrender and trust God. Ultimately, He's the one who has the final say. But it didn't happen overnight. It took years coming from where I come from and to learn to trust God, completely.
There's just so much wisdom, knowledge and learning experiences that you can get from this book. It could be for yourself, for your daughter or family member- your cousin, or your friend. There is so much wisdom, hope, inspiration and freedom that a person can receive by reading my memoir.
