"Proof of Paternity" is written to challenge its readers to ensure they have a relationship with God. Many people claim to be children of God but have no idea how they gained that status. Some claim their growing up in a church made them Christians; others equate their being created by God to being a child of God. In our scientific world, children could find their biological parents through DNA testing. Similarly, there are traits that prove a person is a child of God.
