Publisher's Synopsis
Project Based Learning has proven to be one of the most successful strategies for student learning; however, this learning isn't only academic. It also encompasses the 21st century skills which are so important now that we have fully moved away from an industrial age. In fact, the students of today need to learn how to solve the problems of tomorrow with technologies that haven't been invented. Well, how are we supposed to do that? The answer is simple: we must teach students how to think, how to question and how to work together: in short, how to PBL - learn by doing and thinking.Nowhere is this more doable than in our out of school time programs.
