This manual has been designed to be used by Process Improvement teams, with the aim of helping them manage their improvement project activities from start to end. The contents provide a way to: plan a Process Improvement project; record progress, data and analysis during a project; plan the implementation of improvement solutions; and keep a permanent record of what the project achieved.;Each of the key steps in a Process Improvement project is covered in the logbook, and it is assumed that teams will have been trained in a methodology for process improvement. The text contains checklists, guidelines and proformas to help a team work through their definition, analysis and improvement of a process. Pages and forms are designed to be copied where necessary by the team for practical use during their project. Each section has a comprehensive checklist at the end to ensure everything is in place before the team moves on to its next phase of work.;The logbook is complementary to other TQM International training materials on Process Improvement and follows their 4-Step approach. All the material in the logbook is based on the practical experience that TQM International has had, working with teams to deliver tangible, lasting improvements to business processes.
