Opaca, Anthony. - Shell ovate, thick, smooth, of a dark brown color; spire short, composed of about six convex whorls; body-whorl large, subangulated in the centre; sutures indicated by a narrow lighter line, and very distinct; aperture ovate, livid within; columella indented and tinged with purple; outer lip a little curved; sinus not remarkable.
