Publisher's Synopsis
In February 1995 UK Water Industry Research Ltd, in collaboration with the Drinking Water Inspectorate, organized a one-day workshop on ways to optimise treatment for removing Cryptosporidium from water supplies. The workshop was intended to develop a pragmatic consensus on how the water industry could optimize water treatment processes to minimize outbreaks of drinking water-related cryptosporidiosis. This publication includes papers presented by the invited experts and summary reports from the discussion groups at the workshop.
