Publisher's Synopsis
An Indo-United States workshop (with participation from Japan) on electronic ceramics and materials was held at the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India on 14-16th January 1989. It brought together experts from India, the United States and Japan to review the current status and future directions in ferroelectric, piezoelectric, pyroelectric, electro-optic, high temperature superconducting and ionic conducting materials. Emphasis was on the preparation of powders, crystals and thin films, characterization, theories, properties, applications and devices.
