New Orleans, was 0received and transmitted. He was a member of the Committee of Arrangements for the celebration of 1843 and of 1850. For a period of twenty-one years he was a regular attendant at the meetings of the Corporation and of the Directors, and frequently rendered important service upon commit, tees.
