Publisher's Synopsis
The Rent Deposit Fund operated by Notting Hill Housing Trust provided deposits for single homeless people to help them gain access to private rented accommodation. The research for this evaluation of the scheme consisted of an analysis of scheme records, surveys of tenants and landlords, interviews with referral agencies and an examination of other similar schemes. The key conclusion of this report is that the scheme was successful in providing access to private renting and could form the basis of a continuing programme.
