Each principle is cataloged in several places under more than 1,000 topics for principle-centered studies and topical research. This volume of Principles with Promise goes hand in hand with Principles with Promise: for Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that catalogues approximately 4,000 scriptural principles and 50,000 supporting references catalogued under 2,000 topics or key words. This new type of principle-centered topical guide was developed by extracting principles and their associated promises from the standard works of the church one verse at a time over a 30 year period.
