Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Prince's Select Catalogue of Fruit and Ornamental Trees, Plants, &C., 1855 and 1856: Extracted From Their General Catalogues, of Which Copies Exist in Almost Every Town of the Union, and Which Can Be Referred to by Those Who Desire More Extensive Assortments
All Trees, &c., are labeled and packed in a superior manner, in matted bales 'or boxes, so that it is scarcely possible that any can be injured, and we charge for the packing barely enough to cover the actual cost. We ship the packages, or send them by Railroad, or by Transportation Lines, or by Express Lines, precisely as ordered, and we forward the receipt for the packages with the Invoice, and there is consequently the best security for their delivery. After being thus delivered, they are entirely at the risk of the purchaser.
