A double bill of animated biblical tales from the Dreamworks stable. 'The Prince of Egypt' is an Oscar-winning animated musical which retells the story of Moses. In ancient Egypt the children of Israel are slaves. An old prophecy states that a saviour will soon be born, and the despotic Pharaoh orders a cull of all the newborn children. An Israelite woman hides her son Moses in a basket and sets it adrift on the Nile. The boy is discovered by the Queen of Egypt and adopted, growing to believe he is the blood-brother of Rameses, the heir to the throne. However, when Moses has a chance encounter with a slave called Miriam, she informs him that he is her brother. Although he does not initially believe her, Moses soon comes to learn his true identity and that his destiny lies in freeing the children of Israel. Whilst 'Joseph, King of Dreams' is the story of Joseph, a boy with the power of precognition within his dreams and features the voices of Mark Hamill and Ben Affleck as Judah and Joseph.
