Publisher's Synopsis
The First Batch unleashed daikaiju on the United States. Bionautics and Hidora Neo are the warring criminal syndicates who created them using a myriad of different genetic sources. Aliens, abominations from the other planes of existence, and even terrestrial creatures, both modern and prehistoric, were used in making these giant monsters.
San Francisco, Chicago, the Twin Cities, and even Duluth, Minnesota - all are attacked by the monstrous fiends. Conventional weapons prove ineffective, and the things regenerate quickly even when they can damage the daikaiju. The Armed Forces go back to the drawing board, resorting to drone attacks for saving lives. Or until they decide to bust out the nukes. Fortunately, an alien warrior piloting a giant robot is on the way to combat the entities. Unfortunately, he was woken up because the kaiju activity has roused the Planet Cleaners from deep slumber. With a tendency to become apocalyptic, their consciousness is a world-ender. The Second Batch will bring their worldwide cleansing ever closer as more monstrosities are released on the planet. In Antarctica, Hidora Neo's leader, Sadako Sozo, fights for her life and for those of her remaining troops as they flee the Starheads and their minions. Innocent people will get caught up in the chaos along the way as they reach McMurdo Station. Ivan Strand, the egomaniac responsible for Bionautics' creations, will find out he scorned the last person that he should have, and it will have repercussions he could have never predicted. Bombarded by monsters he must eliminate, Volk'narr must adapt to survive and prevent the next apocalypse. But can he stop the kaiju onslaught before the resurrection of the Planet Cleaners?
