PLP is a comprehensive language programme for juniors. It uses extracts from well-known literature as a framework for teaching basic English Language skills in accordance with the National Curriculum and English Language 5-14. The course is comprised of Pupil Books and Group Prediction Stories.;The Pupil Books each contain substantial extracts of prose or poetry by children's writers including Roald Dahl, J.R.R. Tolkien, A.A. Milne and Penelope Lively. Activites based on these extracts develop reading, writing and language skills.;Group Prediction Stories encourage children to discuss what they have read and to predict what might happen next. At the Introductory Level, a cassette develops listening and speaking skills.
