Publisher's Synopsis
This postcard book contains 32 cards whose black-and-white images from the UK and the USA chart the history of lesbian and gay political events since the Stonewall Riot. Each cards features a slogan which illustrates the change in direction of lesbian and gay liberation from the days of the GLF and the Lesbian Feminists to the Queer Movement of the '90s. Royalties from the book will go to lesbian and gay campaigning and activist groups. Each book also contains a pre-printed message, calling for lesbian and gay equality, to be sent to the government.
