David Smithfield is a multi-billionaire whose worst fear is the Apocalypse. Nuclear war, world war, terrorism: it all keeps him up at night. Instead of building a bunker to survive with his wealth, David decides to build a colony, a group of people working together for one goal: survive the end of the world. Mariah Lopez is a hard-working emergency room doctor, just starting out in the big city. Her life takes a frightening turn when she is kidnapped and brought to the colony. David makes her a deal: spend one week in the colony before deciding if she wants to stay forever. On the surface, it seems like a perfect little community. Mariah is fearful that the colony is not what it seems, that David is hiding something. As she begins to unravel the mysteries of the colony, she must rely on new friends if she has any hope of making it out alive.
