Leddie Fennhadden had it all, a successful business, svelte good looks and Nick, a loving husband who happens to be from another planet. Leddie's happy life suddenly crashes and burns when Nick is killed in a space shuttle accident leaving her grief-stricken and suicidal. Extraterrestrial help arrives in the form of Merek, Nick's old boss and his cohort, Velitel. But in order to save Nick, they must cross thousands of light years, elude galactic cops and hygienically-challenged lizard aliens and traverse the mysterious and forbidden Ko Wormhole.
