Danny Cole has never felt like he belonged. Anywhere. When an old friend offers him a new opportunity to try out virtual reality, Danny jumps at the chance. A freak accident lands Danny and his friend Sawyer inside a new world. They are mistaken for legendary heroes who must prevent the end of the world and begin a journey that neither of them could possibly imagine, where magic, dragons, and elves are ordinary. Along the way, they form their own band of unique characters and set off in search of the magical Star that is prophesied to help them achieve their destiny.
