Presents research findings from key areas of the post-war construction of Eritrea, a country that has emerged from prolonged and profound conflict. Based on the work of participants in the War-Torn Societies Project from 1995-98, it focuses on five broad priority areas that are likely to be significant in the reconstruction of most war-torn countries - social reintegration, infrastructure development, food security, human resources, and the basic questions of governance.
