Publisher's Synopsis
This is a children's story. The author's granddaughter asked him to write a story about a polar bear. The polar bear, an Eskimo girl and a little boy from an Alaskan town with a population of twenty-four people discover a sweet fluid flowing from two different magical trees. The little girl's family takes the outpouring to a distant grocery store and the owner decides to bottle and sell it. In time, a famous gas station acquires the formula and it becomes a popular seller. The little boy and his family took it to an uncle, a clerk in a different gas station. The manager loves this fresh new taste and with time it also becomes a big seller. When competing TV stations learn about each drink, they decide to hold a contest between the two sweet drinks. The book offers the granddaughter and the reader the opportunity to write a story of their own. The book is suitable for children in the 7-12 year-old range.
