They fold to public pressure and reluctantly hire two young scientist. These two young scientists were called upon to study the claims of the public and to provide evidence to assure that there is nothing to fear.Pascal Tyson and Quincy Addames were called upon by the Council to extensively study the solar activity over the next decade. To gather data about its recent fluctuations in activity. Over the years of doing so, they stumbled across an interesting discovery. One that those in power would surely reject. So, knowing they wont get any support from those in power, Pascal and Quincy take it upon themselves to operate in clandestine, developing their own plans for preserving the existence of the Human Race.
